"வாதிகள் தங்கள் வழக்கினை தங்களுடைய வாய்மொழி மற்றும் ஆவண சாட்சியங்கள் மூலமாகத்தான் நிரூபிக்க வேண்டும் என்று மாண்புமிகு சென்னை உயர்நீதிமன்றம் கீழ்க்கண்ட வழக்கில் தீர்ப்பு கூறியுள்ளது.

“Burden of proof lies on plaintiff irrespective of their being any written statement or evidence of rebuttal the plaintiff to succeed in suit only on the basis of strength in his case and not on the basis of weakness in the defendants' case.”
